In Hingham, Massachusetts, a tragic incident occurred Monday morning when a vehicle plowed into an Apple store, resulting in one fatality and 17 individuals requiring hospitalization. The police confirmed the extent of the crash’s impact following the event.

Officials noted that 16 of the injured were transported to medical facilities for treatment, while one person sought treatment independently. The medical staff at South Shore Health, including Dr. William Tollefsen and Dr. Christopher Burns, indicated that the patients presented with severe injuries, ranging from life-threatening conditions to those compromising limbs. With head trauma and injuries to lower extremities mentioned specifically, the complexity of the treatment was intensified as some individuals had pre-existing health conditions.

According to medical officials, several patients are undergoing critical surgeries, while others are set for operations later the same day. Arrangements were made to transport some to nearby medical centers for specialized care.

The victim who lost their life in the crash was identified by law enforcement as a 65-year-old New Jersey man, Kevin Bradley, who was at the store as part of a professional team engaged in recent construction work.

Apple issued a formal statement expressing their condolences to the team members and customers affected by the devastating incident and committed to providing support during this challenging time.
