Truck accident in Boston

In a tragic occurrence on Wednesday afternoon, a fatal car crash in Pelham, New Hampshire, claimed the life of a driver when their pick-up truck crashed into a tree and burst into flames. The incident took place near 970 Mammoth Road. The Pelham Police Department received the alert at approximately 3:12 p.m. Despite rapid response from the emergency services, the black Chevy Avalanche was fully engulfed in flames upon their arrival. Local authorities confirmed the driver’s death on the scene. Identity disclosure of the deceased has been withheld pending notification of kin. The area of Mammoth Road where the crash occurred was closed to traffic for an extensive duration, spanning over six hours to facilitate the investigation.

Officials and first responders, including the Pelham Fire Department personnel, worked tirelessly to extinguish the fire. The Pelham Police Chief Anne Perriello highlighted the bravery of bystanders who attempted to assist immediately following the accident. Their endeavors were overshadowed by the ferocity of the flames, which inhibited any rescue of the driver. The heartwrenching scene was narrated by nearby witness Stephanie Breault, who depicted the progression of the incident from smoke to an all-consuming fire that rendered the efforts of community members futile despite their proactive approach with fire extinguishers.
