Car accident in Boston

In a tragic incident late Thursday night, a man lost his life and a woman was critically injured in a fire at an apartment building in Manchester, New Hampshire. Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene after receiving reports of a fire at around 10:30 p.m. along Village Circle Way, which involved several back porches of the building, detailed by the Manchester Fire Department.

During the intense effort to contain the flames and evacuate residents, firefighters discovered and extricated a man from the building. The individual, later identified as 55-year-old William Halloran, was transported to a local hospital but succumbed to injuries sustained from smoke inhalation, fire officials confirmed. Authorities have deemed Halloran’s death an accident.

Another victim, a woman, was hurried to the hospital in critical condition due to the fire. The specifics regarding her current state of health have not been disclosed.

The origin and circumstances of the fire are currently under investigation by the fire department. Officials have urged anyone with potentially relevant information to contact the New Hampshire State Fire Marshal’s Office at 603-223-4289 to assist in the ongoing probe.
