Authorities Pursue Suspect Following Hit-and-Run Collision in Waterford

In a hit-and-run incident on Monday morning, Waterford Police Department reported that a young cyclist was struck by a vehicle in Waterford, Connecticut. Authorities have since launched a manhunt for the driver responsible for the collision.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:23 am at the intersection near Sam’s Mart on Boston Post Road and Clark Lane. Reports indicate that the driver was behind the wheel of a light-colored Honda Accord at the time of the accident.
Local enforcement officers are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying the suspect. Anyone with information on the individual or the whereabouts of the vehicle is urged to contact Officer Winters #44 by phone at (860) 442-9451 extension 2281, or via email at rwinters@waterfordct.org.
