Fatal Teen Accident in New Hampshire Leaves Four Seriously Injured

A fatal car accident in Meredith, New Hampshire, claimed the life of an 18-year-old woman and left four others with serious injuries on Sunday evening. The collision occurred on Daniel Webster Highway at approximately 6:24 p.m., according to local police reports.
The young woman, identified as Hannah Chaignot of Meredith, was pronounced dead at the scene. She was a passenger in a Pontiac G6 that collided with a Subaru Outback. Both vehicles sustained significant damage, and the force of the impact critically injured the remaining occupants of the cars.
Authorities report that the Pontiac was driven by a 19-year-old, who along with a 13-year-old passenger, and the two 87-year-old occupants of the Subaru Outback were transported to nearby hospitals for urgent care. Due to the severity of their injuries, three of them were later airlifted to hospitals in the Boston area for advanced medical attention.
The highway was closed to traffic until around midnight as investigators worked the scene to determine the circumstances of the crash. Details regarding what led to the tragic event have not been disclosed as the Meredith Police Department continues their thorough investigation.
